life was completely different as compared to last year...


i've been here for 12 days

but the 12 days were packed with attending lectures and seminars, going to the city and lazing in the room

supposedly, first week is meant for some fun yet it was replaced with boring lectures. in comparison with others, my timetable was really atrocious. no off-days, starts lesson at 10am almost everyday and was rushing from one lesson to another... it reminds me of the big and small papaya in 881 ~tired~

now, in my new flat... there were only 2 asians including me... others were all ang-mohs
it's a completely new experience coz when i'm living in victory, there was no English so there's no chance for me to communicate more in English and to expose to more cultures.. they are quite friendly but when sitting together for some chats, it's quite difficult to bring up topics with them coz the shows they are watching, i'm not watching; the things they are doing, i'm not doing... but i believe situation will change sooner or later... =)

i'm getting more and more silly... we were told to buy 7 books for our modules and i had sent 2 books which my parcel has yet arrived. i had completely forget which 2 books i'm sending and as i've already bought 4 books, i'm dubious about whether i've purchased the same book as i've sent. GOSH! may my parcel arrive soon.... hopefully tomorrow... lol

by the way, there was a free trial lesson for dance 2 days ago and i've attended it... initially, i was hesitating if i should go coz it will be rather weird to go alone but thankfully, i din give it a miss or i'll regret... haa... to my surprise, there was no salsa lesson available but other international dance, for instance, cha-cha, tango, waltz, etc was taught. though the amount to be paid was quite steep, but i seriously think my Uni life should be filled with lotsa fun thus i signed up for it. the trial lesson was really fun; hip hop and cha-cha was taught. i guess the lesson will commerce next monday so i'll probably update if it's fun or super fun... hahaha...
